─ haiku

a moth zigzags
across the room -
silent lightning

morning sunlight
creeping through a sycamore –
Spring snow again

a branch in Spring:
tzee- tzee- tzee -
the goldcrest

caught by the wind,
tickets from a burning bus
going everywhere

between two slag heaps:
thistles and poppies,
a skeleton car

Georgian house,
three black windows
staring

last night’s spider web
on a binned Christmas tree -
tiny baubles
